Is there anything different with blue iris purchased from amcrest vs the blue iris website?

Amcrest has it listed at $54.99. It's $99.95 directly from blue iris.

Thanks. Even though it says V5 on amcrest, I'm assuming you can upgrade it to v6?

Yep. No different than anyone on V5 now being able to jump to V6

My only thought would be would you prefer that that more of the profit go directly to the developer or not, your choice dependent on how tight your finances are!
