Are there any good YouTube videos that show how to use the Android App or manual?
The screen shots I found on this forum does not really explain much.
I don't have a problem with connecting, just navigating/using App
HELP

I'm not aware of any videos. But the Android app does have a text-based help for each screen/tab in the app. Tap the "?" (Info) icon on the bottom-right of the screen, then tap "Help".
Thanks for the TIP. I wish Blue Iris would have a printout somewhere with those directions.

I guess I'm disappointed compared the way Blue Iris works on my PC and UI3 on my desktop and phone. In my opinon the android app is non intuitive and was hoping to put it on my wife's Android phone.

Any way she could learn UI3? Most here don't use the app for the same reason you mention.
Yeap, just finished loading Tailscale and a shortcut to UI3 on her android phone.
hopefully it should be pretty easy for her to use. Will go over on how to turn Tailscale Off & On and log into UI3.
She's plays around with the Amcrest Smart Home for our AD110 Doorbell, hopefully she doesn't mess up any settings in Blue Iris

I bought BI. $99. How do I install it on my 3 home computers? It wants me to buy again when I go to enter the licence?
If you are trying to install BI on three computers with the same license key it will not work, you need three separate keys for three computers. Perhaps you could explain why you need it on 3 seperate computers at home, is it so you can view on all three?

Yes, I want to be able to view all my cameras from my office, living room, and bedroom.

Yes? What's UI3?
It's the built-in web server of Blue Iris you access via a browser (preferably Chrome or Chromium-based) on a PC, tablet or smartphone. Read more below:

Based on the questions we see on this forum, I always joke that the Blue Iris Help PDF is a write-only document.

Well, here's another write-only Help document for the Android App.
THANKS, I will have to spend some time learning to use the Android App.

I miss spoked earlier about using UI3, I have been using RDP from my laptop to my desktop/Blue Iris.

Just started using UI3,

AND Just figured out HOW to use Tailscale, I was never able to configure my Desktop/BlueIris to run OpenVPN :banghead:

Thanks! How do I set up BI so I can log in via ui3? I tried my win11 login, but it says user not found, so I assume I need to set up BI so I can login.

"?" icon > Help Documentation > BI Help PDF > Remote Access > Users and Connections

And yet another illustration:p
Jaydeel there needs to be “book for dummies” on Blue Iris. I searched the 311 page “BlueIrisManual” and there’s no documentation I could find that you provided on Blue Iris_Android. So, again THANKS for the info.

NOW for UI3, some of us our Old & Senile . I was going to rely earlier to type in the WAN address, mine is 177.168.1.128, that’s under Blue Iris Settings/Web Sever. But 177.168.1.128 didn’t work unless I had Tailscale (VPN?) enabled! It took me awhile to figure out why it didn’t work. I have a dedicated Desktop, DUAL NIC, running Blue Iris. After playing around all morning, I had to use address 192.168.1.14 for my NIC#1/Internet to get UI3 to work because 177.168.1.128 was for NIC#2/NVR.

So, I had been using UI3 in the past but my Laptop shortcut didn’t work, my Blue Iris Login Address changed after my son came over and configured my Dual Nic Set-up. Hence 192.168.1.4 didn’t work anymore.

That’s why I love forums & contributors that post and go out of their way to help.

@ClerkMaxwell ,
In Blue Iris, click on "Settings" (the big gear upper left) then go to "Users" tab, create a user with username and password.

The URL to be launched in the browser of a PC on the same LAN as the BI server (or the BI server itself) is "http://Bi-server-IP:BI-port/ui3.htm"

When prompted, enter the user/pass you created above.

As aluded to by Jaydeel, this is all covered in BI's built-in "Help" (the big ? at upper left).
