Clearly multiple concerns of which "taking their oil" is not the sole reason as some have suggested. Include things like Hezbollah, Russian & China influence in the region, drugs, bad actors, etc to name a few.
p.s. Still waiting on America getting enriched on Iraq oil like some claimed was the reason for that mess. We didn't "seize" it and the same goes for Venezuela.

It’s uncertain whether the attack on Venezuela will make it easier, or more difficult, to deport the 1 million Venezuelans that are illegally here
Will they be declared legitimate refugees?
Currently the Trump administration deportations are VERY low—so it seems unlikely that this will facilitate more deportations
