Use Hikvision Acusense with Dahua NVR

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has successfully connected a Hikvision Acusense camera to a Dahua NVR with Smart Events?

The camera is a DS-2CD2386G2-ISU/Sl, and I’m looking forward to buying Andy's EmpireTech NVR16CH-AI-S2 16CH 1U. Probably the NVR could handle IVS by itself, but I would rather use the Acusense analytics to save NVR power.

Not happening. You can use AI by recorder if you get a high end model nvr for IVS features, but you’ll have to plug the cameras into a poe switch.

If you expect to able to use all features of a camera and NVR, you need to stick with both the cam and the NVR must be from the same manufacturer.

I agree. Its best to match the brands. But if you find a different brand smart NVR it would do the smart feature just not directly from the camera.
