I have sent several emails and messages through Dahua's website, but have gotten fuck all for response.

Does anyone know of a way to get any sort of response from them? Ultimately, I know it's futile, but I am looking to see how to procure additional grommets for their junction boxes.

Become a multi-million dollar dealer/installer of their gear LOL.

Otherwise what you experienced reaching out to Dahua is exactly what we would expect because we simply are not their target audience, it is the professional installers/distributors that are authorized to sell and install this gear, so we cannot purchase directly and thus they will not take your phone call for support related questions or suggestions - they will tell you to talk to the installer/distributor you purchased from for sales, support or firmware updates.

Many people have bought a "Hikvision" or "Dahua" from Amazon or some shady foreign website or a 3rd party seller or even an authorized distributor and when they call Hikvision or Dahua for support they basically tell them to go pound salt - we have dozens of threads were people come here after trying that route. We simply are not their intended market to sell to and they will not take your call for support...Lot's of threads here confirming this, including one from a few months ago where someone tried to call for support and they told them sorry talk to their installer.

And now we can add your post to the growing list...

DEFINITELY send Andy a message-- he will help you out.

As bigredfish stated above, they won't work with end users. When I had my first system installed by a security alarm company, there were many complications with the system because I am a Macintosh user, and the company had only worked with PC customers. So the installer was getting frustrated and called Dahua directly from my house. The exchange between the two was absolutely hilarious. Wish I could have recorded it. In a nutshell, after an hour on the phone, Dahua's fix was to lead the installer to a webpage and try out each of the 15 listed firmwares one-by-one! Pure insanity. Nothing solved the problems, and it was such a waste of time on everyone's part. A few days later I found this forum and have never looked back. If the answers to your Dahua questions can't be found here, they certainly won't be found by contacting them. They won't respond.

I get it, but if that is the case then why do they have contact options available? If they wanted only contact from installers, dealers, etc then put it behind an account wall.

Which grommet are you looking for ?

Quick search gave me the following website Shop Rubber Feet, Grommets, Vibration Isolator Mounts & Washers .. should be able to find other sources also

I want the specific grommet/bushing they use on the top of their PFA130 junction boxes. I will accept nothing else.

I asked ChatGPT for a supplier of this type of grommet and it was a dead end. But as I type this I remember that as a kid, we had a toy(?) that was RTV (?) and forms that we could make things like cockroaches to put in ice cubes. Could one come up with a form and use that stuff to make a bushing?
