Would appreciate guidance on camera install locations

The costs are being covered (hopefully) by state funds, as a way to monitor my son (special needs, state waiver) but still provide independence, so the cost isn't hitting the wallet the same way.

I love that the 54IR is well known and loved, but if it's really from 2019, are there features that are "missing" when comparing it against the new T54PRO? Maybe some fancy AI stuff? I have issues with FOMO and perfectionism when dealing with tech, so I'm struggling to buy something "outdated", but I understand that's probably ridiculous when it comes to cameras.
IPC-Color4M-TZ is the same but variofocal, right?

My current plan is to install the five T54PRO/T54IR like shown in the image, then the PTZ3E10X-T180 in the NW corner with a corner mount, aiming the 180° straight north and using the PTZ to look down at the basement door or west at the fence gate/side yard.
No cameras on the west side?

Your FOMO will cause you to buy the wrong camera LOL. In this industry, the newest isn't always the best.

This tech doesn't advance very fast. Your phone camera has better tech in it. But try keeping it out in the elements 24/7 LOL.

Other than the 54IR doesn't have a speaker or dual IR/white light, the 54IR is a better camera.

But the S3 version (which simply means it is a different sensor than the previous model) that rolled out in the past 2 years or so is a big enough advancement that they could have called it a new camera. If they had that sensor in the PRO series, it would be winner. It has been all but proven that the PRO sensor is inferior and is trying to be made up with gimmicky AI tricks.

We have had many people buy the newest tech, whether that be the 4K/X or 4K/T or 180 to replace the 54IR and most end up replacing it back to the 54IR. And that is what many will do that replaced a 54IR with the PRO is they will go back to the 54IR.
