In three different devices no less. Both demarcation blocks as well as the Unify Gate Hub. Like WTF?

There are literally only three active network cables in this whole box - the 6" blue cable from the demarcation device to the POE injector, the 6" red cable from the POE injector to the Unify Gate Hub device, and the white cable going from the Unify Gate Hub out of the box (which is so long that it is coiled around the box several times). Every other cat termination has been cut!

I especially like the conductor insulation colors used for the Unifi "gate operator" N.O. and COMMON contacts......neutral and earth ground in the U.S. of A. ?

I can only guess it was an attempt to further weatherproof the ports. A better option would be to use plugs, like these:

That occurred to me as well but thought at least I'd cut them more flush, maybe helping them look less like something that was stolen!

I used to crimp some RJ-45 males on a few occassions to blank off some female ports (if not crimped the contacts won't let you fully seat them).
