Looking to Replace my PTZ camera with a newer model

It will be great if you can show us some night image of people walking pass this camera when you are convenient at later time. :)

Cool. Does it see IR or color only? Will be interesting to see how the fixed F1.2 lens performs at night.

From the website: "IR LEDs provide up to 492' of night vision. Additionally, a supplemental white light provides up to 328' of illumination for recording full color video in low-light conditions". Initially I am going to go without lights from the camera at night. I may have enough light at night as it is. It is getting darker earlier so that will give me more time to play with the camera at night.

One more thing. I was afraid this PTZ might not have enough zoom. However, for this location it has plenty. Also, with the pictures I posted, you can enlarge them with a click and read the streets signs at this level of zoom. I love the 4k.

What would you estimate that street sign/corner to be where the white truck is turning? 120ft?

Ok, my first night picture. I think it will take a couple of nights to dial this thing in. IMHO, it is not too bad for being 4K on a 1/1.8" sensor. I am trying to get the white light to come on. Still some things I need to figure out and play with. For some reason I cannot attach a photo???

A couple of neighbors helped me with the project.
 That's great to hear- in Australia you're likely to have your neighbours complain about invasion of their privacy. Then try to get it removed by complaining to the authorities.

A PTZ question - is there a guide anywhere on what each of the tracking settings do on the Hikvision PTZ cameras? The terms they label them with don't really help much and searching hasn't helped much.

I am probably going to have to read the manual. :p :D:D;)

Some things are the same as the Dahua and others are not. Some items have like 10 options with some of those that I have no clue about. So, I need to read up on them. Yes, the manual is online.
