"the president continues....." Welp, CNN we'll find out if she broke the law and is guilty of what she claims Trump did. What comes around, goes around? Reaping the whirlwind? In the meantime CNN, keep the tears coming; they're delicious on my fries.

They've always been what they accuse the other side of being. They look into a mirror and describe themselves.

Trump did not get the Nobel Peace Prize, but look what the Nobel winner did....

Sometimes 1+1 =2

Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado….

Maduro Secretly Offered US Vast Resources To Avoid War, But Nobel Winner Maria Machado Vows To Go Bigger

…Behind the scenes, however, Venezuela’s senior officials, with Mr. Maduro’s blessing, have offered Washington far-reaching concessions that would essentially eliminate the vestiges of resource nationalism at the core of Mr. Chávez’s movement," NY Times continues.

Apparently the US administration is currently more enticed by her (Machado) own economic pitch. She has argued that only democracy, rule of law, and openness to the international community can truly allow foreign access to Venezuela's resources, and that Maduro will not deliver:

"She argued that even greater economic wealth — $1.7 trillion in 15 years — awaited U.S. companies in Venezuela if her movement launched a political transition. (Ms. Machado was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for what the Norwegian Nobel Committee described as “her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela.”)

It is indeed curious that the Nobel Committee while denying Trump, has chosen to award a person potentially at the center of US regime change policies in Venezuela.

Me: it does add “legitimacy” to the new US chosen leader of Venezuela

The Trump tariffs were always a negotiating tool to get America a better deal. I'm not sure how anyone could miss that and think these were long term and set in stone. Never did understand the hysterics and anyone who knows anything about negotiating knows that persuasion by leverage is Negotiating 101. It is true that we do not know the long term implications but handing everyone a jar of Vaseline and bending over is never a good negotiating tactic. The old strategy of being an unpaid whore was not working. I like that we have someone who is trying and using tried and true methods to get a better deal.

If they’re so obvious short term tactics, how does he expect the revenue to continue? There isn’t a week that goes by that he doesn’t use Tariff revenue as a way to reduce this or pay for that. He even talks about stimmies, replacing the tax code with them and paying down the debt with it.

Face it he hasn’t thought through the long term effects and/or will fail to deliver his grand plans for all of that tariff revenue, in which case all of his loyal supporters will forgive him, again.

The White House says there is something going on in China. We will have to wait and see what it is.
I think so as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they do not invade Taiwan very shortly.
