Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

I would think that like my 3449PRO you should be able to control the warning lights by either A) drawing another duplicate tripwire and making one activate and one not using a separate schedule for each, or B) setting an interim block of time (extra profile) where you want different light behavior.
I use a Custom 3rd profile beyond Night and Day to allow for the lights to not be enabled in the evening when we use that area as a smoking lounge for example

(No I havent reset the monthly estimated sunrise/sunset times on that cameras as I was using it to test to sort out a plugin issue)

Thanks for the tips ! Funny, but when I first logged into camera, everything worked fine in Edge with NO plugin installed. It was asking for it but I just clicked close. I did try to install the plugin and then I got the dreaded white screen for the video part. I had to go into the plugin folder and run the uninstall to remove it. Then Edge would work fine again.

Those two outside photos were from his phone I believe

Thanks! Will use yours, first night running the T54PRO-ZE outside. Long day running the Ethernet, testing, tweaking. with further adjusting placement tomorrow.

Yes the camera it comes with 0731 works good, but not the best, the 0827 Auto is bit poor, so we make tons of work on it to make them good, and find a balance. For high tech skill guys can work well with the manual settings.
0927 i post a temporary link here, guys can download it. I will put on website tomorrow.

The PFB203 works fine with the new cam. All you will need to do is drill three new holes, as I did in the attached photo.
Cool, thanks for sharing, so will be easy for guys who use the old PFB203W and no need to change it.
Later all wall mount on turret will be the PFB2203W.

GREAT timing @EMPIRETECANDY as my camera is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow afternoon - getting excited! ;-)

If I recall properly, Andy stated that he had new firmware and would be sending it out directly to the people who receive the camera.

There's a possibility he put the newest firmware on first before sending, but...

Andy produces his own custom firmware based on Dahuas. Often it has less bugs, extra functionality.

Jmcu has already done a review and comparisons, I might throw a video up some time , but I am not good at reviews.

Wow that's a big boy. Just like watching porno. Lets hope the picture it produces is just as good. PS don't the missus anywhere near it!

BTW a couple of quick sensible questions, how much is the back box for these given it's size? Also wonder just how much it stands off the wall with the back box added given it's large size to start with. I can see black being a popular colour if they ever produce them just because many may want to reduce the profile a little. Not complaining the size will be worth if it the picture lives up to the hype, but I can see many wanting to reduce the visible profile via black colouration.

there are multiple reports that Windows 11 update (some security patch? defender/firewall rules?) blocks Dahua web service plugin on many computers...
the only known solution for now is to delete webplugin from computer...

for me (Mac user, so there is no plugins at all) on modern cams all functions works without plugin..
NVRs interface is limited (many functions don't work), but on cameras everything is functional..

Mine replaced one of my free lotto cams (IPC-T3449TM) that was fine for day, but night wasn't that good. But I never complain about something I got for free. Anyway, here is the before and after swap pics. I of course have a clip of me in my pajamas walking out and it triggered perfect and the warm Leds came on and it looked awesome, but no way in hell am I posting that. Sooner or later, I will find another person or cat for an example. :lmao: Keep in mind this is right out of the box, I have not touched anything other than trip wires and fps/bitrate.

@steve1225,

just to clear this up: a Dahua NVR can link a Tripwire (IVS) event to multiple actions and even trigger other cameras.

According to the official Dahua NVR User Manual V1.0.0, Chapter 6.1.3 “Alarm Settings” and 6.2.1 “Alarm Event Settings”, you can:
• Define a tripwire on one camera.
• Use Linkage Actions to trigger recordings on multiple channels, activate alarm outputs, or enable audio/light warnings on other cameras that support Smart Dual Light.

Could you Check this for me? I still dont have it to Check.

triggering other channels is for PTZ cams..
never saw this to trigger multiple recordings/activate alarm outputs/smart lights etc..

if you want to have full house lights/alarms activated by each camera, you have ALARM-OUT output on 5xxx NVRs - where you can connect small relay and turn-on any lights/alarm installation over it.

You can activate this output by any cam (IVS event etc)......
