US Elections (& Politics) :)

I agree with her. She only interacts with the leftists and it's pretty clear how stupid they are to vote in someone like herself.

Depends on what the plan is to replace that revenue... :wtf:

Same way Trump does? Print it? No

Will it be simple and easy? No. It wont be one magic bullet thing.
Is it a good idea? I think so. I applaud him for trying.
Is it guaranteed? Nope. He admits its an uphill climb, but finding Hundreds of Millions of $ is local govt waste already is a good start

I will watch with interest! There are similar pushes in South Dakota (where we have no income tax and we ALWAYS have a balanced budget since 1889). I don't know how you shuffle that deck and not screw someone over. In SD, farmers would LOVE this idea. They are already millionaires from growing corn to feed the government-subsidized "renewable" ethanol production plants. (btw-- it takes more energy to CREATE every gallon of ethanol than that gallon contains. Makes sense. Am I rambling now??? LOL. As with all things in government-- new taxation schemes feel gimicky to me.

Good, keep holding out...will only make the DEMONCRAT party look like fools and hypocrites even more! Yes! Stand your ground baby! Shut it all down!
Democrats hold firm on healthcare... how will that make them look like fools and hypocrites?

IMHO, fools and suckers believe this bullshit over and over again:

OK, my bad... it turns out Trump does have a comprehensive health care plan for all Americans:

Trump posted about a medical conspiracy theory called 'medbeds.' Here's what's going on.

You may be a fan of tax refunds to those who not only do not pay taxes but also are far likely to be more of a burden on the rest of society. That I do not know.
"Refundable" tax credits are just another name for welfare, where the government can claim it's not welfare. The federal level is the worst place to administer welfare, the local level is the best. There are some who genuinely deserve welfare. Once that's available, the scammers exploit it, and those who are on the fence between working, or working the welfare system, will choose to work the system. Administering the welfare locally provides the best chance of identifying who is genuine, who's a scammer, and who's just lazy. The further the decision makers are from the recipients, the easier it is to cheat the system.

The bleeding heart liberals will cry it has to be at the federal level to assure equal treatment for everybody. That's a valid point, but also opens the door to more graft and waste to the point where the cure is worse than the disease.

Ukraine's cruise missile carries a larger payload and has greater range than USA Tomahawks ..

Ukraine’s New Homemade Cruise Missile Packs a One-Ton Warhead | WSJ Equipped

Sep 30, 2025 1 product
Ukraine has unveiled a new FP-5 cruise missile, nicknamed ‘Flamingo,’ and its manufacturer claims it can strike 1,800 miles into Russia. This would allow Ukraine to hit targets deep inside of Russia like military facilities and oil and gas industries, which help fund its war. Kyiv’s new missile has a 20-foot wing span and can carry a one-ton warhead. For comparison, the U.S.-made Tomahawk cruise missile has a wing span of under 9 feet.

WSJ breaks down what we know about the new weapon and how it could be used against Moscow.

Math expert here ;).

"It’s also not certain what benefits, if any, would flow to customers with private insurance, who comprise about two-thirds of the US population."

My family doctor runs a mini-pharmacy for patients only, stocking a bunch of widely used drugs. It's not extensive, maybe a couple dozen types. I'm not bothering to research the prices, just saying for the few times I've used the program, the prices are dirt cheap compared to what a regular pharmacy charges, usually less than the copay, and certainly less than the deductible. Posting this as an example of what's possible. Knowing how the government messes things up, the reality might not even come close to the possible.

Great performances today! Hegseth spoke first:

Then Trump spoke, but he seemed a bit low key... watching Hegseth prance around may have tired him out. He did mention having a tough act to follow as he came on stage. But Trump did not disappoint with let's make US cities training ground for war:

Here's the group watching Trump speak... one smirk in a sea of serious facial expressions...

THIS!!!

I have no issue with the tax structure as it sits right now. I know the bottom 50% only pay 3% of the bill per their incomes-- that's OK. My issues with taxation arguments is when people scream about "The RICH need to PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE" and really expose their ignorance. Guaranteed people talking like that have NO IDEA the top 1% are paying over 40% of the bill.

I disagree... We should ALL have skin in the game, especially since all of us get to vote.
