ahhh, More winning for rich America

WASHINGTON (AP) — The federal budget deficits caused by President Donald Trump’s tax and spending law could trigger automatic cuts to Medicare if Congress does not act, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office reported Friday.

The CBO estimates that Medicare, the federal health insurance program for Americans over age 65, could potentially see as much as $491 billion in cuts from 2027 to 2034 if Congress does not act to mitigate a 2010 law that forces across-the-board cuts to many federal programs once legislation increases the federal deficit. The latest report from CBO showed how Trump’s signature tax and spending law could put new pressure on federal programs that are bedrocks of the American social safety net.

Trump and Republicans pledged not to cut Medicare as part of the legislation, but the estimated $3.4 trillion that the law adds to the federal deficit over the next decade means that many Medicare programs could still see cuts. In the past, Congress has always acted to mitigate cuts to Medicare and other programs, but it would take some bipartisan cooperation to do so.

Lets trace it back to its socialist roots...

Medicare was put into motion by the Democratic Party.

It was signed into law on July 30, 1965, by President Lyndon B. Johnson, a Democrat, as part of his "Great Society" initiative. The legislation was championed by Johnson and strongly supported by Democrats in Congress. Former President Harry S. Truman (also a Democrat) was given the very first Medicare card at the signing ceremony, symbolizing that the program fulfilled a vision he had first proposed in the late 1940s.

Republicans at the time were generally opposed to the creation of Medicare, though some did support it once it was clear the bill would pass. The core idea, however, was advanced and enacted under Democratic leadership.

Just wow...

I would double check this one, see if you can find the original BLM account post ..

iirc the referenced video that blacks have a right to violence is an older video so I have a lot of questions when someone posts "BREAKING" as it implies a new fresh "news"

"BREAKING - The official black lives matter account has posted a video stating that black people “have a right to violence” amid mass outrage over the slaying of Iryna Zarutska at the hands of a black male in Charlotte, North Carolina."
