Might be a stupid question and it probably is. I have this camera:
dh-ipc-hdw4631emp

I also have a 15mm conduite pipe I need to use to run 1 cat6e cable through it to the camera as it
I can use this junction box but what is the hole size for the conduit?:

I just see a label saying 2-G1/2 which I dont know what that means

Will the 15mm conduite fit ? Smaller is ok as I can just silicone around it

From that link, that jb has one g1/2 opening on the back and 2 g1/2 openings along the perimeter of the box. G designation is for british standard pipe. It is roughly 1/2 npt. 15mm conduit seems a bit odd. Where are you measuring it? If you look at G Pipe Thread vs NPT - Metleader, you might be able to decide if it is worth trying. I have tried 1-1/2" npt with G1-1/2 and it was so close that I really wanted to make it work if I only put a little more force on it! They do not interchange.

Hi thanks for the reply
This is the conduit from my local hardware store it's 15mm inside diameter. I don't need bigger than this

Its 15mm inside diameter

So the 1/2 is basically half inch?

If the hole is bigger thats fine as I can silicone the gap
So the conduit is comparable to our 1/2 pipe size. You might ask if they have g1/2 fittings. A US hardware store would not but maybe yours? Or Amazon.com.au? This from Bunnings says 1/2 but I am clueless on if Australia 1/2" is NPT or G1/2. I would be interested in what you find out. Chatgpt says they use British standard so maybe G1/2?

Yes the 1/2 is 1/2 inch. But with pipe 1/2 is nominal not actual! It looks like the 20mmx1/2” is the right fitting for your 15mm pipe. But I’m just a yank! Your results may vary.
