Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

Here are the final samples from me for this set as I need to move on to some other projects. (small SD3 2mp and 4mp "cheap" 16x PTZ cams and some "super" NVR's)
I think all these cameras are very good depending on your location and budget.
These are recorded from the camera's web GUI @ 1440.

I tried to get the same settings for all the cameras for comparison.
The first part is with no LED illumination and then @ ~ 6:50 I have the LED's coming on and then some AI SSA enabled.

interesting is that 38PRO works very well in that scenario...

question is how 58PRO perform?

maybe there is no reason to limit out selfs to 4Mpx when WizColor 8Mpx can perform in many installations...

One thing I noticed (and I have never used AI SSA or run SSA backlight at night so I'll experiment)

is the HDR? effect on the white LEDs on the new models. It appears to work like Smart IR is supposed to (and does on some models)

Now it's called: Illumination Overexposure Remover

And works for both IR and white..

ps. not require classic or AI SSA

Yes, the 38Pro works very well in this location, it is only 10' away from the other ones but it is aiming down a bit.

I think the 4k has it uses in certain places, but many like to use them for everything.

And works for both IR and white..

The Illumination Overexposure Remover seems to work well in a area that has some lighting, if you recall in the total dark areas it had some issues adjusting, not bad but could be better, as well did the Smart IR with the 54IR-S3 with the IR.

I think you can fine tune any one of these cameras to have a great picture.
You just need to decide if you want the LED's as a deterrent or even as walkway lighting as they are pretty bright.

AS is the fixed lens and the ZE is the varifocal lens that gives you a little zoom capabilities for the installation.

I think the color 4k still has plenty of life left in it, I have seen others make this camera have a beautiful image.

Any one of these cameras with 2 way talk would make a good front door cam, IMO they are better than doorbells if you have the area for a camera.
Keep in mind the 5X PRO cameras are a bit larger and may look too large if set right in front of the entryway, if there is room and the correct angle to mount off to the side they would be just fine I think.
