New plates coming to Indiana. Thoughts?

We have FLOCK everywhere, so I would hope they did their research. However, if they're worse, I am going to get one come November.
I assume the background is flat and the white would be reflective? I wonder how that works with plate readers. I think I have an older plate that was like this, but dark blue background. I'll need to take a look at it.

These are the older white on blue plates we used to have. I have some work to do on my LPRs and may mess around with one to see what it does.
Iowa has black and white plates like that. When they're around here they seem to be easier to read.
Texas has White lettering on Black plates. Show up just fine.

UK has compulsory yellow on black (rear) and black on white (front). As most govn spped etc cameras work on the rear view, i seems they decided black on yellow was the best combo. Our rules are really strict though for lettering font, spacing, size, material, refelctivity etc.

Black plates with white lettering can be purchased at extra cost in Texas. Those plates show up day and night on my two cameras used for license plate capture.
I like how some ID10Ts pay extra for that plate, then put a gray plate window over it. Those things should be illegal.
In most states it is illegal to cover plates, but the police won't do anything about it.

Ours pick you up for altering the spacing or using a different font, with up to a 1k fine. Depends on the force but more and more are doing it. They seem to ignore crime and go after motorists instead for every little infraction. You can barely move for speed cameras now with many being average speed. They even have communtiy speedwatch everywhere.
