Open senate seats in Florida are filled by the governor, then up for election in the next special election. Open house seats are filled only by a special election, so if Trump pulls republicans out of the house, those votes will be unavailable for a while.

Vivek finally got the position he always was passionate about that he talks in his book. He has been saying "shut it down" since Jan 2023. Trump and even Trump Jr was shy about implementing this, even after Vivek said it to Trump Jr face in his own podcast.
But it took Elon Musk money and influence to make it happen, otherwise they would have just replaced the head of the departments.
Elon and Vivek have been discussing about firing 70% since last November.
The DOGE commission will cease to exist by July 2026 and Vivek will likely run for the governor of Ohio in 26.
This way Elon can still be the CEO of his companies and they also both don't need a senate confirmation, where the Rinos for sure would have blocked them.

The problem is Elon and Vivek will have NO real power. They are advisors. That's it. And the uni-party entrenched big government bureaucrats will go to great lengths to protect THEIR means of control. We might not be in Kansas anymore, but we sure as hell ain't out of the woods.
