hikvision Ds-7716ni-14/16p(b) hdd problem any ideas?

Hello i have just got a hikvision Ds-7716ni-14/16p(b) nvr system it came with 2x segate 4tb hdds and my old nvr had 4x WD purple hdds so i added them to the new nvr

when i connected them it found all 4 hdds so i formatted them.
After 5 mins it kept bleeping so i checked on the storage and found all hdds were not showing.

i then found ports 1,2,4 were not working but ports 3,5 was working

any ideas please i have tried changing the hdds around and it seems to be the same with no luck

things i have tried
swapping the hdds around (fail)
firmware update to latest (fail)
downgrading the firmware (fail)
Deleting the hdds and seeing if it found the others (Fail)

Do you mean the PoE ports? Since there are 4 max HDD interfaces.
Did they work originally?

What happens if you just add a single HDD?

Hello i bought it as fully working and it was
no i mean sata ports inside their is 5 sata ports 1 for E-Sata at the back
when i connect 1 to port 1,2,4 nothing shows up if i connect it to port 3,5 it shows up as a 4tb hdd
i have all 4 connected but its only showing the 2 on ports 3,5

when i first got it showed the 2 hdds i then connected my 2 hdd's as well and it did show up as 4 hdd's connected but then 5 mins later it showed 0 hdds i restarted it then found only 2 ports are working

OK, that's clear.
It sounds like the device has partially failed.
Might be best to see about requesting a return for replacement.
