Dahua NVR cannot reply ping

Hi,

New guy here, the issue I face is that the NVR cannot being ping by either PC and my router. Even though it's detect all the IP camera in my network. Also I having some issue using dmss apps as its cannot connect to the NVR. So the question is this NVR has issue or I just too dumb to solve it.

Check in Security > System Serivice > Attack Defense > Turn off ICMP option

this solution work . i now can ping my NVR but still cannot view the camera connected to the nvr. its keep disconnected .

my IP for my NVR is 192.168.3.148
and the laptop IP is 192.168.3.224
