Suspect: "I can't because you boxed me in"
Standard Police tactic in the UK as well. However, there is an issue with getting the suspect out expecially when he's boxed in by high sided 4x4's.
Would be intersting to have seen how they extracted them.

Here in Commiefornia, the cops would have had to give each other reckless driving tickets, and maybe been charged with kidnapping the suspect.
