Blue Iris license key

Newb question. I purchased Blue Iris through ipcamtalk a few days ago. I have downloaded and opened Blue Iris and am trying to enter the license key I got in my confirmation email but the “Next” button is not clickable when I do. I am using the “serial key” from my confirmation email. Should I be using something else?

Yep, five sets of five digits.

Double check characters that are easily mistaken for each other like 1, I, O, 0, 8, B.

I am copying and pasting. Maybe I should try keying it directly.

Keying it directly into the box instead of copying and pasting worked. Strange.

Copying and pasting can sometimes get extra characters like spaces at the start or end. I'm not sure how smart Blue Iris's key input box is when it comes to that stuff.

It could also be that it needs to detect one regular keystroke at the end before it will check the code and light up the Next button.

I've noticed pretty much all of BI's dialogs require you to either tab or click something else before it recognizes the field entry.
