Setting up Foscam noise alerts on Blue iris

Ive seen this done somewhere but can not seem to find it again. Got a cheap foscam equipped with noise detection to send alerts for a smoke alarm, Not having any luck figuring this out not that I have the cam up and running on my blue iris. Anyone done this?

You dont need a camera that supports noise detection, just a mic then you can use blue iris audio trigger to trigger the camera. See audio tab in camera properties.
