I have a side of the house, which is pretty much enclosed all around and it is not important, so I don't want to spend a lot of money for a camera.
I see these ~$79 PTZ Wi-Fi cameras. Anybody is using these? Any experience with these?

Well , once again people on this form have stayed away from wireless cams for starters, especially the Ali express no name PTZ's . If it were me, I would NOT buy this. I would save your hard earned money and wait for a deal on something else. Perhaps two decent dahua 2 mp starlight cams would cover your area.
But on the other hand go get it and let us all know how you make out. The history of cheap PTZs is not on your side.

Wifi is too unreliable.. last option.. my opinion
 
Wifi can be jammed very easily. It absolutely should not be used for security. If you want to use the camera to look at nature ok.

Also any money you save on this junk you will spend it time trying to set it up and use it.

P2p is asking for your network to get hacked.

I do not let any of my cameras have any internet access.
 
I don't think, that I will use it as a wifi camera(I have asked in another thread, if I could use two ptz cameras on one line). I need a ptz, I don't want to install two fixed cameras. The whole area is not worth much. I have the water heater, water softener and a shed there. Wood plank fence all around.
Front gate does not have handle from outside.
It is covered 80%. One ptz would be Ok to look around, if I wanted too. No need for expensive Dahua ptz, or two fixed Dahuas 2x$129= $260. In the backyard, I have a 5231R-ZE and a SD-1A203T.
I have 9 Dahua cameras and one Amcrest ptz, for the garage.
 
2 Nellys Goswift cams can be had for $79 a piece, I have used them, they are solid, they usually go on sale from 99 to $79 Now and then. Good support and very nice picture. 1 Chinese PTZ $62 plus shipping, after 3 months $40 shipping back to china for repair or replacement. Lots of hair in the shower drain.
Just giving you some alternatives, Get the PTZ and let us know how it goes, Ya never know might work out for you.
 
Thanks, but I really want ptz. With the ptz, I can look around, if I want too, at my water heater, water softener, even my Rachio sprinkler controller, or the shed. Usually, it will be pointed at the front gate.
Initially I was considering another SD-1A203T, but I'm thinking if I really need to spend that much. I may still end up with one, I'm just looking around to see what is out there.
 
Yea, for the $$ its pretty tempting, I did read the reviews and could not get a straight answer if it would work with a NVR, you might be stuck using their app, That would suck.

I would like to hear from somebody, that owns one of these or similar.

This is a deceptive ad.. the photo has you thinking this is a larger PTZ.. it really is not.

pay attention to the dimesions: Dimensions (L x W x D)(mm):175*115*110mm

Considering how large good quality PTZ cameras are, and looking at the size of the wifi antennae compared to the camera - I think this is simply a deceptive con job.

imho I expect this to be basically a "toy" compared to a good proper PTZ camera.

I know that is small, I don't need a proper ptz for this area. I have a proper one, at the front of the house. I just need a cheap basic camera, that can move around.

Buy it. Sometimes you need to learn the hard way.

Hi @tibimakai

Having bought my share of low quality products for "deals" - this one imho stinks. Go with something better, see the reviews looney2ns and other has been posting - iirc there have been some nice outdoor rated ptz cameras in domes that have been reviewed.
