No Mac address listed ???

I just purchased my first IP camera requiring I determine the MAC address via their software rather than it being printed on the ID label. Are there any disadvantages for me to use such network devices, where the MAC is not printed on the device itself, please?

Most network devices in general don't have their MAC address printed on a sticker.
