Trying to put together 2 setups ASAP

Long story short, I need to install 2 setups ASAP (safety concerns). One for my house, and 1 for my brothers condo. I plan on NVRs and cameras being Dahua (hence the reason I posted here, because I also plan to purchase from Andy). I will attempt to attach aerial shots to help. Let me know if more info is needed. If I should post this in a more general section, let me know. Thank you for any help!

Condo:
Looking to do a basic 3/4 camera system - Trying to stay around $500
NVR - NVR4108-8P-4KS2 (better/cheaper option?)
HDD - WD Purple 2 TB
Cameras - (Probably 3 to start)
2 x IPC-HDW5231R-ZE (front door and patio door)
1x IPC-HDW4231EM-AS (6mm lens. this would be for the choke point to back gate)


Anything else? Other suggestions?

House:
I'm a bit more technical, so mine will be a little different
NVR - NVR5216-4KS2 V2
Switch - Cisco Catalyst 2960SF (already have)
HDD - WD Purple 2/4 TB
Cameras (3-5 to start depending on prices)
2 x IPC-HDW5231R-ZE (driveway, back patio)
1 x IPC-HDW4231EM-AS (6mm for between houses)
1 x IPC-HDW4231EM-AS (3.6mm for back garage entry)
1 x IPC-HDBW4231F-AS (front door)

Anything else? Other suggestions?

Suggestions:
- ipvm.com - use that arial view to "put" your selected cams on it, then you'll see immediately if they are effective (or not)
- read the Cliff Notes
- use varifocals if lens size "unknown" or "unsure" - they cost a bit more, but can span a whole range of mm lens
- read the Cliff Notes
- and check the VPN Primers too (Wiki on top).

I did mess around with this before posting, and pretty much how I came up with the lens choices
- read the Cliff Notes

Agreed. This is why I chose 4 of the varifocal cameras.

Looks you've done well with your research. Only other thing, if you typically leave cars in the driveway, it's best to install a cam on each side of the overhead door, criss crossing each cams view across the driveway.

First step is to install a good monitored alarm system. See options on Amazon that help make it harder to kick in your entry doors. Normal installs are easy to kick in.

Devise a plan of action if a home invasion would occur. Practice said plan until you can do it in your sleep, the most likely time it may happen. Everyone in the household needs to be on the same page.
