Gadinan miniIpCam 1080p, BI problems

I bought this cam:

I installed its CMS prog and it sees the cam with correct stream.

In BI instead, if I make it find the cam, it finds it, generic Onvif, no param, then it gives RTSP 451 err
I tried Onvif device manager and instead it reach the stream and starts decoding with this line:

rtsp://192.168.1.123:554/user=admin_password=tlJwpbo6_channel=1_stream=0.sdp?real_stream

password=tlJwpbo6 ?? the pass was blank.... anyway it works.

I put this on BI and yes it starts displaying the stream BUT after bit seconds, it drops the connection

, it's never stable, idem the OnvifDeviceManager.

What should I do to have a stable stream like its CMS?

I put that rtsp line in VLC and it's good, stable stream. The same into the browser.

In Potplayer instead, it has similar problems to BI...

I put the rtsp line in the wrong BI field, anyway now I put in the correct path field:
"/user=admin_password=_channel=1_stream=0.sdp?real_stream"
and it has the same problem.

I tried also to see the secondary stream, changing stream=1:
"/user=admin_password=_channel=1_stream=1.sdp?real_stream"
That works well! But obviously an orrible low res, low Mb...

try disabling hardware acceleration..

Maybe the only unusual thing is ref frame 1 ?
Is this stream with too much I frames? Apart that quality should improve...
 
I did it!

I tried to modify the h.264 settings, but in the menu it was lacking the secondary stream data, so I think, it didn't saved the modified settings: it said fail.
I reinstalled its CMS prog and now it showed the secondary stream data: now the saving is fine!

The problem in BI was related with too much Mbit/s:
with 1080p, 25fps, 6144, no good
1080p, 25fps, 4096 perfect
reducing fps at 18 at a Mb/s of 6248 is perfect, no stream corrupted!
Everything lower than this is ok, all more than this corrupted data... probably it's over 6000...

I also put 30MB buffer in BI... obviously it's not a real bandwidth problem because it's only 550KB/s... but anyway tha was the problem in BI and not in the browser or VLC or their CMS.
Who knows?

Anyway I'm happy I solved it. hope this will be useful for other users of these miniIpcam.

Next week I'll test quality image day/night and I will tell you.
 
I told the seller Gadinan the problem, he says to upgrade the cam with this firmware

But it opens another page in chinese where I should insert a password... I don't know how to do. I tried some translation, no good.

Any help?

Now them link seems to work... maybe he changed something in the site.
I'll update, I hope to not damage anything...

BTW:
the model of this ipcam says:
IPC50H20L_S38, but the firmware n° seems the same of that installed... mmmh

the firmware is the same, nothing solved of course.

I writed also to ken, but this time I don't know what's going on with the answers...
He continues to insist (after 4 mails) on saying this behaviour should be related with OS, or router bandwidth, or firewall or antivirus etc etc
I explained to him that even VLC or the browser rely on the OS socket, that other 2 Dahua at 10Mbit/s (so more bitrate than the Gadinan) work well in BI, that we're talking of an extremely low rate 8,5Mbit/s on a gigabit router, only BI never work with that Gadinan bitrate, the other 2 SW always work...
I also added that I don't make BI guilty of the behaviour, it can surely be a wrong stream from the cam, maybe long GOP I-frame, who knows.
Nothing, he doesn't get it.
I'll give up this time.
