What did Klasipca do to be banned? Just noticed. He was helpful to me.

Seriously, this again....

Guys... Many of times he was an asshole for no reason. Was he "sometimes" helpful, sure. However, he talked up China crap left and right and would direct new users with little to no experience to AE or crap cameras with no warranty or support because in his eyes "they had the best low light image". He would jump into topics he had no business trying to discuss and lead people down the wrong path. The moderators here gave him his own sub group for that POS Huisun camera that he shoved down everyone's throat here as the best camera ever. Did it work out for some users - sure, however the majority of people here are now posting almost weekly about cameras that have failed, locked up, crashed, etc. Now, everyone is a grown adult and capable of making his/her own decision, however he influneced a lot of those decisions to pick up inferior crap cameras. He would openly bash HIK and Dahua cameras as having terrible night images and scare away new users from some of the most reliable hardware on the market. Rarely did he take an individuals circumstance and make a suggestion simply based on that users needs - instead he would shove Huisun, Longse, etc down there throat even if they were a novice with little to no knowledge about IP.

His positives were far less than his negatives!

I have bought 2 of those 'crap' Huisun cameras and they are amazing, have been working flawlessly for about a year now, unheard of features and image quality at that price point. I might buy a 3rd.

It seems to me that some moderators hated Klasipca because of disagreement over the Huisun cameras, and incivility that I noticed was more so on the part of the moderators who seemed exasperated that he continued to advocate for the Huisuns.

He got his own sub forum... Not sure how you view that as "hate"... And as I noted - some found those cameras to be great, but again, the forum weekly has posts about them crapping out and no warranty support. You're also missing so many other points I made above... If you found him that helpful I'm sure you can go over to the other forum as he prob. landed in that land and is being viewed as a gawd.

I have 5 of the Mini PTZ and have had zero problem with them. Klasipca brought a wealth of information to this forum which certain people were blind to. He is greatly missed.

bob2701 did you buy the Huisun or the Improx ? one of my V2 10X died it was an Imporx.
 
Both, I have 2 V1 3X from Huisun, about a year old now. 2 V2 10X and 1 V2 4X from Jack. Only problem I have had was with the Huisun 4X which was a dud from the getgo. I live at the Jersey shore and 2 of the X10's are on the south side of the house in direct sun all the time.
 
good riddance to bad rubbish..

the 'wealth of information' he brought to this forum was largely misinformation and outright faulty logic.. facts were his enemy and it turned his ass into nothing more than a troll trying to defend his indefensible positions..

he started accusing those whom he didnt agree with of being spam bots sponsored by Longse/Huisun's competitors to discredit him and his junk.. I believe that was the final straw for the management of this fine forum and his caustic ass had to go.. being a dick is not what got him the boot; purposely spreading outright false information was the source of his doom.. and he started doing that the day he arrived here, so imho; banning him was too little too late.. if I had the power he'd of lasted a few days here tops.

Once again as pointed out by zero, that was not the case - he got his own subfurm. He acted like an asshole. I will not tolerate it. If that bothers you, you can leave as well. For the record there have been many failures of the huisun cameras. They are unreliable garbage. The same goes for the longse cameras, I received two for testing, I installed one in a non critical location, it worked or for 6 months, then the POE started going out when the IR kicked on - this has been confirmed by testing with a new switch as well as a monoprice cable. The point is, his ban had nothing to do with the camera recommendations and everything to do with being an ass. I am not going to rehash this every time someone has an issue with their husiun and now needs technical support. He is not coming back. Ever.

No, the final straw was when he questioned fenderman about his statement that he was the author of the BI mobile app..

No, that wasn't "Questioning". That was an outright smart ass comment.

This specific example feeds to Nayr's point of "facts were his enemy and it turned his ass into nothing more than a troll trying to defend his indefensible positions". He involved himself in a BI forum he didn't have knowledge on and started being all jeckyll and hyde. Once Fender called him on it he continued to push buttons, and finally he pushed the ban hammer button.

I'm done with this topic, I argued with that ass hat enough early on then wrote him off. Everyone is entitled to there opinion but I don't miss him!

See, this is the kind of false passive aggressive accusations that get folks banned. I make my living in a field unrelated to technology. The developer of blue iris is Ken Peltzer..I understand from bug support replies that he farms out the android app. Stop spreading lies.
