I think sometimes the difficulty is defining "Deep State"

Its not solely a group of people within the US government or even the US sitting in a dark room.

Its an International group of people and institutions that largely need war and upheaval to finance their one World goals and distract the peasants
The Rothschild dynasty and offshoots are a major part of it. (think Central Banks)

We're being played and everytime someone gets too close to seeing a key piece of it, they tend to disappear or resign and take up knitting

Trump is compromised and is corrupt enough to go along. In fact I think his ego allows him to think he's now part of it. He can't be, in his mind, subservient to anyone one or group.
I think the cabal understands this and is using him, he's obviously easily manipulated. But he's a willing participant. He truly doesn't care about anyone but himself, including the well being of the country.
