Ukraine 2013 coup snipers shooting at protestors. Then President Victor Yanukovych at the pressure of USA announced re- elections and ordered the police to stand down. But the right wing Nazi party stormed the parliament and forcing the president to flee.
But the snipers where in fact from the Nazi party, with evidence shown in the court trial.

CCTV video has surfaced showing a car carrying two pensioners being blown apart by an armored column at a crossroads in Makariv in the Kyiv region on February 28. The man and woman inside were killed. A witness on the scene identified the attackers as Russian forces.

That was a wildly circulated video in 2022 a Russian APC fired it's cannon killing them sadly. The commander of the APC assumed it was a Ukraine gorilla sabotage team coming in with a NLAW /RPG attack.and ..

There was also another video in 2022 where two APC covering a road front and rear shot a cyclist walking with is cycle, the momment he entered the road, the gunner or commander of the APC assumed it was a person flanking with RPG or Javelin.
All of this was condemned way back then by everyone including Russians military bloggers on Telegram. The poor analog sights of the BMP2 was also a factor in this. With Russian defense ministry investigation but no charges where filled against the BMP crew.

Claims and counter claims. One side days Russian disinformation campaign and other aide says vice versa.
At least a good chunk of the names where of military combatants, territorial defense and people unrelated to Bucha. Not saying there are no civilians killed this is war after all.
Also, Some of territorial defense fighters and military combatants who surrended to Russian unit in Bucha where very likely killed. Russia has made it intentions clear to not take alive any Nazi or Azov affiliated soldiers even if they surrender. Whether that was the case here is unkown.
But Bucha event came a day after the draft peace document was verbally accepted by both sides. Which is a perfect reason to torpedo the peace talks.
