EU was accepting letting Russia keep the 2014 occupation territories

Russia is now attempting to double down on their losing hand, and attempting to force a larger conflict.

recall the Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939 was due to Finland attacking Russia .. ( false flag )

IF this were true, Russia would not have invaded Ukraine ( part of Europe, and Putin was told in no uncertain manner that there would be support for Ukraine if he did invade ), and Putin would not be lamenting on the loss of Greater Russian Empire and that the Russian Empire / USSR needs to be restored.

It seems more people in EU are realizing the tired old “RUSSIA is going to invade us” fantasy is just that. Their words not mine.

Regardless of rewriting history, the EU is the one provoking war right now. Not Russia

Look, the rules were super simple with Ukraine .. go back to the ROOT

Ukraine gave up their Nukes to Russia for the promises by Russia, USA, UK to respect Ukraine's borders.

SIMPLE.

Nothing in those rules on "influence" operations .. USA and USSR / Russia have been playing influence games for a long time.

Putin lost the recent round of influence due in a large part by Ukrainians NOT liking Team Putin. That's on Putin not having a good Team Putin.
Ukrainian would have happy to be with their Russian Cousins if their Russian Cousins were not raping and murdering their wives and daughters.

SO Putin decides, invasion is a good idea .. and failed.

Just like Trump decided attacking Iran was a good idea .. and well, I think we all know what you think of Trump for that.
