Anyone else watching the fourth season of Reacher on Amazon Prime? The writing has been a bit thinner than season 3, the characters are less complex, and the major protagonist (Reacher) already bedded the babe in Episode 3. At least in Season 3, they waited until the 6th or 7th episode.

This season is more inline with the way Reacher is portrayed in the books.
Each season is based on a different book in Lee Child's series of Reacher books.
In the books, Reacher is a complete loner without friends. Hardly ever speaks.

My wife and I both think this season is the best yet.

This isn't Reachers final season by a long shot, it's already been renewed for season 5, and there's rumbles of season 6 already.
It's been the biggest thing on prime since day one.

Funny enough, we started with season 3 by accident (I guess we couldn't see the number 3 on the movie thumb), then watched 1 followed by 2.

The wife and I watched, I Can Only Imagine 2 yesterday I went into the movie with the mindset, how could they make another one, the first one was a great movie, IMO. Most sequels suck.

Well I was wrong, this one holds as much water as the first. It was a very good watch. Also, I am a big fan of True Story movies...

I am very fortunate to live in the Chicago Suburbs where you can get DVD and Blue-Ray discs from almost any library in the Chicago area at no cost. With that, I watched Lioness with Zoe Saldana and Mr. Robot with Rami Malek as the Hacker. Both excellent series.

For really old series, West Wing is highly recommended along with The Newsroom. Opening episode of The Newsroom hits it right on the spot with the current state of this country.

Took the grandsons to see Sheep Detective. That was good and they liked it. Took them to see the latest Spiderman and they loved it. It took a while for it to get going, in my opinion, but it was entertaining.

Damn-- I should have commented about Lioness here instead of in a new thread.

I've been watching Reacher too-- This current season is better than 2 and 3 IMO, more in line with season 1 quality (or maybe a little better than S1). He smartass handling of people trying to question him is hilarious.

I loved this series. Loved the book. PKD is one of my favorite authors. I have only seen the first two seasons. Keep saying I need to see the remainder, but I will need to rewatch to remember everyone and the plots.
