Have any of you lost a port assignment when fiddling with a camera? I did tonight. I was setting up motion tracking through AI and I guess I don't know what I am doing. I had the first PTZ preset all setup up and the camera was fine after I did it via the web browser. Then, I was feeling cocky and thought I would try the motion detection on another PTZ preset on the same camera and that seems to be when all hell broke loose. The camera rebooted and then never came back up to the point where I could access it. I can't seem to access with web browser and can't access it through BI anymore. When trying to set it up through BI, it can see the static address when I do a search via IP, but the address on the ping response is missing the :554, :80 port association. Any ideas on how to get back into it and better yet, should I stay away from the cameras AI function? The camera in question is 192.168.0.90.

So what exactly did you change?

You could try to connect to it using Smart PSS.

I was in the AI section of the camera. I was setting up of a tripwire for a second PTZ Preset view for auto_tracking. I had done the setup on the first preset and everything seemed to work fine. I don't exactly remember what I did or the camera did after I got the tripwire drawn. The newer Dahua cameras with the newer GUI really throws me off. The camera is a Dahua 6C3425XBPV.

Can you unplug it to power cycle it?
