Is this a reasonable mount to use for T54IR-ZE-S3 on a vertical brick wall? I'm not sure if this is a cheap knock off, or the same thing empiretech sells?

You mean the PFB203W? What about for mounting vertically on wood siding?
I'm wondering if a mix would work better. I have a few locations that look like the picture below. I think the circular junction box would look better here than the wall mount that sticks out.

Regarding the round "PFA-130E " you linked: it's ABS plastic......the genuine Dahua's and the one Andy sells are aluminum.

These may work fine but they are plastic whereas Andy's empiretech are aluminum.

Can you expand on this? Is it not possible to put the PFA130 in any field of view you want?
You can turn the camera on the PFA130 to any angle you want.
The problem is the cord gets in the way and the way you have to screw the face plate for the mount on, then the base of the camera, then deal with the cord restricted trying to angle it can become a chore if on a ladder. So it might take some take down, reposition the ball so that the cord isn't restricted, and repeat.
There is no base plate on the PFB203W so the camera base goes straight to it, and then because of the design, the cord doesn't get as restricted trying to angle it.
I have both and use both, but if I have my choice, the PFB203W is the easier one to work with.
So I am finally setting up/playing with my T54IR-AS S3 CAMs I bought several months ago. Two of them will go under eaves using PFA130-E mounts and the third will mount on the side of our house using the PFA203W mount.
For the life of me I am having a heck of a time trying to figure the Camera mount out.. I tried to retro fit the T54IR on both mounts, I can't seem to match holes. Plus I don't understand this new Camera shell, I am use to 5442s. I am sure I am doing something stupid and missing how this shell works. The mounting screws are also too short to even use them. Lastly I don't even understand how to tighten up (a security set screw) to the shell so the camera will keep it from moving, there actually is no side set screw like the 5442s have.
I went as far to verify that these are TS41Rs:
So I get the three holes to match but as you can see in the picture the front is not flush so if I move the mount down to the front, they no longer match. Also, if you noticed the top screw slot is smaller, the mounting screws are to big/wide.
To add the mount/housing is not flat, it it raised so screws will have to be longer for this to mount.
On the PFA130-E it is worse.
The only way I can get holes to match is off center it where it hangs off one end. Don't let the pictures fool you, looks like I could slide it on screws but when I move it down, two os the holes no longer line up.

Also, BTW, does anyone know the difference between the PFA203W and PFB205-E Both mounts are listed on Andy's website that work with the T545IR. I do see different mounting Camera base holes between them.

Yeah, I saw pictures with that Tab which mine don't have. Mine is all metal, still don't understand how to tighten the camera so it don't move. I am wondering if the PFB205-E is a better mount? May have to reach out to Andy unless someone else knows a solution. Also, need a better solution than the PFA-130-E I know for sure I have to get longer screws....
Thank you, you give me hope that there is a way. I like the PFB203W mount, looks solid and I like the cavity that I should be able to tuck the wires in with the weatherproof connector...my Ethernet cable comes directly out of the wall so the mount will cover it so it should be a clean install.
What a POS and a PITA.....designed and/or manufactured on a Monday?
Maybe the Phillips head screw is merely a lock (I hi-lited stamping below) that needs either more depth (length) for friction?
Maybe some stainless steel washers will allow you to mount it where is matches up on either the 203 or the 130 and forget about the key slots to salvage it and use what you have....probably past the return window.

Now that I think about it, I used an older mount from an older 5442 turret
UPDATE: After reaching out to Andy, he provided me with an instructional video for mounting the T54IR. Here is where the Senior Moment comes in, sure enough there was a separate box that the missing piece to my puzzle came in, I apparently set it aside in another room when I first unboxed the Camera. Kinda wished they would of attached it to the Camera, not sure why it is separate and in its own box. but the box does keep the camera from moving around, which now makes sense. Anyway, how stupid of me, I was focused on setting this Camera up before install, change IP and video settings, etc. then starting playing with the Mount. Totally forgot I set aside a box from the Camera box.
Sure enough, I jumped the gun...probably why I am not a Cop
...and you would think being Semi-retired, in my 60s, slowing down in life, that I would of gotten better...
Now I am just misplacing more things, haha...

My dad passed in 2011 just 3 days before his 90th birthday, a WWII vet of "The Greatest Generation". He would do crossword puzzles and word search type games in later years often, said it helped keep his mind sharp....and he WAS sharp as a tack.
I retired in '04 at 55 after 31 years of traffic signal work but started a PC repair business a year later because I became so bored with no daily challenges, goals or obligations. I dissolved the LLC 8 years and 320 customers later but still moonlight a bit these days repairing PC's and setting up networks, IP cameras, etc. for certain people and companies if they can pay me under the table, not so much for the money but to challenge me....like my dad, it's my "crossword puzzles".
The chemo treatments last year really set me back a bit, physically as well as mentally. I can personally attest that "chemo brain" is a real thing. Even THIS post that would have taken me 5 minutes or so prior to February 2025 took me probably 2 or 3 times longer. But I am going to "keep on keepin' on".....one cannot succeed if you don't try.
I'm pretty sure the good Lord didn't bring me this far so I could just up and quit.
