I don't even know if the reply if I posted is accurate. Everything to do with politics these days is nuts and it seems like it's just gonna get nuttier. What a mess.

It will only get worse faster now.
The election and support of Donald Trump and the do nothing Republican Congress is now openly defying the law and Constitution. Blatant Corruption is now quietly dismissed.
Some portion of the public actually believes it’s now acceptable for the US to go to war with and kill/kidnap foreign leaders to steal their oil.
That sends a ripple effect throughout the voting public.
It’s now more than ever acceptable to ignore our Constitution as long as “My Team” is doing it. Joe Q voter more than ever before has the attitude of “fuck the other guy as long as I get mine”
The social fabric has been ripped open and in its place is a gaping hole.
Ancient Rome comes to mind
The one and only thin thread holding it all together is the economy. If that breaks, we’re in for very dark times
