US Elections (& Politics) :)

At what point does this become elder abuse? Seriously, I couldn't stand the free loading POS Joe Biden, but this is bullshit. And you KNOW that family, Cough, Cough Jill Biden, is going to keep doing this shit for every freak'n nickle and dime until the old man croaks. THEN, they might even try a remake of 'Weekend at Bidens', I mean Bernies.

I don't know if its true or not...don't give a damn. Its the military, leave your bullshit civilian attitudes and thoughts on the yellow footprints when you join. If you weren't in the military, you can just fuck right off, IMO.

No disrespect here... it is true, it's been reported by all sorts of outlets. Whether or not it's necessary or a good idea will be debated now.

Personally, until I see evidence proving otherwise, I'm assuming it's "bullshit civilian attitude" coming from Hegseth... hopefully he has solid reasons for proposing/implementing this, but I'd guess his reasoning is not well thought out or researched, and he'd be more qualified to give advice on applying makeup or selecting stylish shoes and pocket squares.

Hegseth announces new policy to test troops for low testosterone

Over the past several years, special operations troops — and specifically Navy SEALs — have come under scrutiny for their use of testosterone and similar substances to enhance performance.

The death of a SEAL recruit during training in 2022 led to a discovery of substances in his possession, including testosterone, and revealed far more rampant drug use among the elite program than was previously acknowledged.

A year after the recruit’s death, the Navy said it would begin a drug-testing program to screen for “any hormonal substance, chemically or pharmacologically related to testosterone, that promotes muscle growth.”

The Pentagon did not respond to questions about what research or academic studies underpinned the move.
