I have connected my nvr properly and can view the video from my phone app, only when connected to my wifi.. when off my wifi the app wont work on my phone..
there are a few ways to set this up and i have tried them all. i have disabled fire wall and i have made sure dhcp is on.. i have tried configuring manually using ip address and gateway. still no luck.. I have shaw ( in canada ) bluecurve router modem - and it does not allow many settings.. looks like an aris xb6 any ideas? attached are some photos

No need to redact your private LAN IP.
You didn't mention that you revealed then scanned with your smartphone the QR code on that first screen to set up P2P.

That's what sets up P2P via the app so you can access your NVR when the phone is not on your LAN (Wi-Fi).
FYI, P2P (Peer to Peer) uses their cloud (not recommended, at least not by me).
