Yale alarm alerts?

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right place to ask but recently, I purchased Yale's burglar alarm (I think it is IA-320), when I was installing it this week, I realised that it doesn't seem like there are SMS/phone call alerts for it?

Looking at Yale's website (linked below), I see text messaging as an option but Yale's app doesn't have it.

I also saw today that they allegedly discontinued phone alerts (blog post below).

Does anyone know if some Yale alarm would have SMS or phone calling notifications? Even if it is not IA kits.

any smartphone alerts via app would have to come through the cloud in regards to iPhone and Android push notification servers.
If the alarm box locally had the ability to send email / text message... depends if they allow 3rd party or once again, proprietary Yale servers to handle it all... then you should be able to configure 3rd party text message server (I assume same one used in some Blue Iris situations) and 3rd party email.
If everything is locked behind the Yale proprietary wall... then out of luck.

After reading that alarm-notifier.com email.. looks like you are out of luck for SMS alerts. Have to rely 100% on Yale proprietary cloud solutions for the rest of your life :)

Thank you for the reply and yes, it looks like I am out of options as the alarm box/hub does not have the ability to connect to a phone line or have a SIM. I'll investigate other possible solutions in the meantime.
