Dahua Network PTZ DH-SD59430U-HNI $15​

This is a high end Dahua PTZ camera that stopped working two days ago.

An expensive (paid over $1,200 for it initially) professional 4mp, PTZ camera with auto tracking (Pan/Tilt/Zoom),
Incredible low light sensitivity with high quality camera and lens.

IR distance: 328ft.

The issue is the ethernet communication is non-working. Not sure of the issue, but pressing camera reset switch has no effect.
Has been working with my Blue Iris system until two days ago.

Do not have any manuals. Support was changed for this camera due to privacy concerns with hi-tech Chinese products.

Live East of Seattle but can ship for cost of shipping (you pay).

I have impeccable feedback on ebay and USaudiomart.

Potentially it could be a small LAN-Isolation transformer inside.
These isolate the Ethernet's data pairs from the camera's circuitry.
$2 part to replace.

A post showing my findings.

I have two IP cameras which draw ~3w of power but do not show any network activity at all. No blinking network activity lights on a switch, or the device showing up on a managed network switch.
Same symptoms powering with POE or 12v DC.


What's wrong?
It appears the Ethernet cable was not the correct pin out. POE voltage was sent into the data lines.

Connected directly to the TX & RX lines of the Ethernet jack input is an S16503G LAN transformer. An isolation transformer.
Checkout the burnt pin on this camera. That's pin 14 TX- .
