What is best practice settings for clip storage drives?

There are two options within Windows drive properties for HDD on the general tab at the bottom:



What is the best combination for BI clip storage drives?
Compress and or index?

turn both of those off. Waste CPU and there is nothing to index. the video is already compressed.

Also make sure the drive or folder is not being scanned for viruses.
