UPnP Issue on EZ-XVR1B16

Heyo all, Currently got an issue with UPnP on the EZ-XVR1B16
It is always stuck on Search... (I assume "Searching..." cut off) and network settings are definetly correct (gateway points to router ip, DNS ok etc.). I have also checked my router settings and UPnP is enabled, Should mention my old DVR (DH-DVR3116), although being entirely Dahua (not EZIP) UPnP worked with no issues, Is this just some sort of weird bug? I have resorted to manually port forwarding but I would still like to know why it isnt working, Thanks!

(New to IPCamTalk, apologies if I posted this in wrong threads or not where it is ment to be)

Ouch!
Are you wanting to create a honeypot, something that's exposed to the entire internet just so you can see all the attempts at compromising the device, and potentially also the other devices on the LAN that it is connected to?
