Tool to convert BVR to MP4

Is there a tool in existence which will convert a BVR to standard .mp4 files? I found this: GitHub - Botts85/bvr2mp4: Convert proprietary Blue Iris AVC .bvr files to .mp4 files, but it looks a little rough and states itself that it does not preserve audio.

The use case for this is to be able to download BVR's via UI3, and then if needed, convert them to MP4 video on my workstation rather than the BI server.

Why not use the built in Convert/Export in UI3?

I do usually. Just wondered if there was an alternative, for situations like:

A) avoiding extra server load / offloading the conversion to another system.
B) downloading a few BVRs and then only converting if and when needed.

It's not a particularly important requirement, but I wondered if such a tool exists (I mean I'm not sure what else you would do with a downloaded BVR from the option in Ui3... )

Have you tried using Handbrake? You can do batch conversion of files from .bvr to .mp4

No. I will test it out. I wasn't aware Handbrake could read BVR, thanks.
