The first pic actually look prettier because of the sky. Wallpaper quality!
I thought it ran North/South. Why is the sun going down in the middle of it?
Were up north ( not far enough for Artic circle perma-Daytime-But in January it feels like it lol) in June the sunset is 9:05 at the longest days of the year. I took the pictures from the Dam. looking west at a bend in the river.
The river meanders about on its way South. Downtown the river goes in a "s" and appears to travel north. About 200 miles north of here or so....some rivers flow North toward Canada. some kind of 3 way watershed up there.
