Setting camera to read a .jpg file

This was working in version 4.1/4.2. but not in 4.3/4.6
I have created a IP camera using the generic jpeg/gif/etc.request setup.Current error is no signal non image data. If I open http://blueirus ip/image.jpg, I see the image. So the web server virtual directory is working, but not the camera view.
What I am doing is taking a screen shot of my home automation and copy the jpeg file to the Blue iris www folder.

This worked for me on BI 4.6.7.1.

Put your image in to BI's 'www' folder. Mine is named 'image2.jpg'.
Create new cam. Select a group.



Force image format to the image size; mine is 225 x 225.
Set max frame rate to 2 minutes.
Disable overlays (if not desired).



IP is BI webserver LAN IP plus port.
Insure video path image name is correct (mine is 'image2.jpg'.



Under Watchdog, disable Detect loss of signal.



To view on mobile app, insure webcast is enabled.






EDIT: The only deficit I see right now is that the image will not display by itself on the BI app, it will when all cams are shown. And it displays in BI singly or when using the web UI pages.

I can't swear to it but I'm fairly certain it did before but it's been probably over a year since I had an image display as a camera so this may have changed with latest update, I don't know. Anyway, these instructions work for the most part and will get you 'about 95% there.'
