Vbeyond that I think it's redundant for the camera and NVR to have motion detection I'm new to NVR's and very confused by alarm, schedule, etc. If I want to record by motion detect do I need to create configure an alarm and schedule? I did, but it isn't working Also i have motion detect enabled on the camera, maybe I should turn it off on the camera and let the NVR do the motion detection?
