Replace Hikvision NVR with ???

The Main Question: I want to replace existing Hikvision NVR. What should I replace it with?


Details:

I have a site with a Hikvision system. It's a 32 channel NVR with 18 Hikvision cameras. 16 cameras in POE ports on the NVR and 2 on the network.

I do not have access to the login info.

Should I replace with another Hikvision NVR? Should I use another brand NVR? Will I have to factory reset all the cameras?

That might be possible. But, it's old and I was hoping for something better or with new features.

The features and capabilities of the cameras are usually the most important part of a system.
