Reconfiguring a Hikvision Doorbell camera to a new router.

I am having trouble reconfiguring a new router to my DS-HD1 doorbell camera. From what I can glean, It seems like the process is to reset the Doorbell camera and proceed as though it's a new camera. I tried pressing the camera's reset button, tapping on the "+" on the iPhone app, and scanning the QR code. However, nothing happens after that. The app just presents me with the option to tap on the "+" add option again. Another article I found says that, after resetting the camera, I should launch the app and go to the "More" section, and then select "Configure Network". From there, I am supposed to have the doorbell's camera scan a QR code generated by the app.

Dumb question, for which apologies :
Did you consider configuring the new router base IP address and DHCP scope and WiFi settings to match those of the previous router, such that no changes to any of the connected devices would be needed?

With the Hik DB, you could always go to Batch Config. Tool to change network settings, this after you gain access to the DB.

One thing, make sure your phone is on the same network (SSID) as the Doorbell. You need to get the Doorbell into AP (Access Point) mode for the App to see it. Are you getting an audio voice from the Doorbell after reset? It should confirm when it connects to your WiFi network.
