Recommended Computer for Blue Iris? Okay, I'm sure this is already in the forum somewhere but I didn't see it. I'm not sure about the load, eventually 6-8 4K cams.
Also, I'm interested in a computer to run Home Assistant.
I would simply add that you really want separate computers (or at least different virtual machines/dockers if you want a single piece of hardware) for these two functions. I say that because both of those machines are "mission critical" IMHO and while both softwares are very stable, I would never want a problem with one "taking out" the other. Neither machine needs to be very powerful however. Honestly just about anything that supports Windows 11 is going to be powerful enough for either of your needs without problems.

Per the Wiki, the standard recommendation is to buy a used business PC, but for some use cases, the Beelink Mini S13 N150 ($219) is a great option. I am running twelve dahua 2MP cameras (IVS on camera), AI confirmation with RT-DETR-M, and continuous recording to a WD purple HD via the 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, and it is working great, is essentially silent, small, and runs on 11 Watts.
