Outdoor mounting box PTZ dome

Hello, I have a noname ptz dome camera that has a wall plate with a rectangular hole pattern (100mm x 60mm - 4 holes). I would like to use a standard outdoor single gang wall mount electrical box but the standard 4- hole pattern is slightly different (the 60mm spacing is ok, the 100mm is not - few mm to long). I suppose I could drill new holes in the ptz mount but hoping for a better solution. How are these things typically mounted? see attached picture of a similar camera.

Typically I try to ensure I get at least the top 2 screws into the studs of a house with long quality screws / bolts.
