Open VPN and ATT Fiber BGW210 Modem

Ok We just bought another house and I got the ATT Fiber gigabit service and for the life of me I can get my IP-Link Archer A7 to get the wan address so I can setup Open VPN. The ATT Modem is just giving a local 192.168.1.XXX DHCP address.

At the other house we have Mediacom Internet and the cable modem and the other IP-Link Archer A7 get the WAN IP automatically and Open VPN works perfect.

I am sure I need to probably change some settings in the ATT BGW210 Modem to get the WAN IP to broadcast to my TP-Link router.

Looks like your ATT BGW210 is both a modem and a router. Look for an option to set the ATT BGW210 into passthrough mode.

Thanks that worked great... I now have Open VPN working on that network.
