One Monitor 2 imputs Comp & NVR switching on the fly

I have one monitor with dual HDMI imputs. One from my PC and one from NVR. I'm looking to see if anyone has used software like ControlMyMonitor to switch imputs back and forth, I can switch once only to NVR screen but cant switch back because theres no icon availbe , has anyone made this work by making hotkeys to run the .bat files to switch back and forth.

I realize it may not give the exact NVR screen(s) you want but as an alternative, what about viewing the NVR's embedded webGUI by using a browser on the PC?

If you ever figure out how to finish that list PLEASE let me know how you did it.......nothing evil or illegal now.
