A few years ago, I bought a NVR of an unknown brand on Aliexpress, and now I can't remember the password for it. How do I find it or restore it? The login is for the administrator only, and the password can be any. I tried to reset the settings, following the advice from the Internet, but nothing worked. Also, standard passwords such as 123456 are not suitable. I tried removing the battery and closing the contacts. It is also important to note that there is no reset button on the case and the motherboard. Please help me with this NVR. Sorry about the quality of the photo.

One thing I'd try is to locate (assuming it exists, which is likely) the 'serial console', which is usually a set of 4 holes together on the main board.
These will be 'serial TTL' signal levels, and should provide a command interface into the system controller, the CPU.
The method of connecting will likely be by using a USB to serial TTL adaptor, and a terminal program such as PuTTY.
Some care is needed to properly identify the console and it's signal allocations, RX, TX and GND, at 3.3v levels.
Then some exploration of the commands and controls should yield some useful and interesting results.
Quite a 'techy' activity, but usually quite interesting, and probably useful to solve the access problem.
